SMS Program and Consent

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This page describes how ZimZum Inc obtains consent to send text messages, what we send, and how to stop receiving them.

Who receives messages

We text only people we are actively working with: clients, contractors, suppliers and other parties involved in a project. We do not text people who have not given us their number for this purpose, and we do not obtain numbers from purchased lists.

How consent is obtained

Consent is given verbally, in person or by telephone. When a client, contractor or supplier gives a member of our team their mobile number for the purpose of coordinating work, our team member states that we will use the number to send text messages about scheduling and project updates, and asks the person to confirm that this is acceptable. The person's agreement is recorded in our system together with the date on which it was given.

Consent to receive text messages is never required in order to work with us, to make a purchase, or to enter into any agreement. Anyone who prefers not to receive text messages can say so, and we will contact them by phone or email instead.

What we send

We do not send marketing, promotional or advertising messages.

Example messages

"ZimZum Inc: Concrete pour at the Union site is moved to Thursday 7:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out."

"ZimZum Inc: Your inspection is scheduled for Tue Oct 27 at 10:30 AM. Reply STOP to opt out."

Message frequency, rates and opt-out

Message frequency varies according to the needs of the project. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from us. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that. Reply HELP for assistance, or email [email protected].

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
